SWIMMING POOL RULES AND REGULATIONS

CASCADES PARK HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION
1. The pool is for the use of Cascades Park Homeowners Association pool members and guests only.
2. Members will be responsible for all actions of their guests. Please acquaint guests with all pool rules. Guests MUST be escorted at all times by a resident member.
3. All persons use the pool at their own risk.
4. The Pool Management and guard staff is trained lifeguards. All persons must obey the instructions of the staff. The Pool Manager is responsible for enforcement of all rules and has the authority to deny members use of the facility for any infraction of the rules.
5. NO ONE will be allowed to use the pool when guard staff is not on duty.
6. Cascades Park Homeowners Association will not be responsible for loss of or damage to, member’s personal property. All articles are left in the shower rooms or on the pool deck at the member’s own risk.
7. NO pets are allowed in the pool area.
8. All bathers must shower before entering the pool area and after using tanning solutions.
9. Life preservers, water wings and similar equipment may be used in the pool at staff discretion and/or when the pool is not busy.
10. Ball playing will not be allowed on the pool deck. Ball playing in the pool will only be allowed at the lifeguard’s discretion, depending on bather load.
11. Anyone wishing to swim in water above their shoulders may be required to show reasonably good swimming skills at the lifeguard’s request. (Swim Test is the length of the pool.)
12. Running,pushing, wrestling, dunking, splashing, standing or sitting on shoulders, throwing of others in the pool or other actions causing disturbance will not be allowed. Use of profane language will not be tolerated within the pool area.
13. No climbing on or over fences. This will include the wooden wall inside the baby pool.
14. If you step on the grass, please wash your feet in the designated areas before entering the pool.
15. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times. All children may be required take a swim test (length of the pool) if unaccompanied by an adult and/or at the discretion of the lifeguard.
16. There will be a 15-minute rest period called every hour.
17. Loitering at entry or guard stand will not be allowed.
18. Admission shall be refused to any persons having infections, inflamed eyes, colds, nasal or ear discharge, poison ivy, excessive sunburn, open sores or any communicable disease.
19. Inappropriate attire (i.e., thong, cut-off jeans) may not be worn in the pool.
20. Smoking will not be permitted inside the pool area. Please use the designated areas near the fence.
21. NO glass bottles or glass containers of any kind will be allowed in the pool area.
22. Consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited. Pool staff, Recreational Committee, Association Management, and the Board of Directors or their representative reserve the right to deny pool use to anyone violating this rule. Intoxicated persons will be denied access to the pool.
23. The pool may be closed, or its use limited, at any time because of weather, operational difficulties, overcrowding or at the Manager’s discretion: in cases of lightning, the pool will remain closed for one half hours after the last sighted lightning.
24. Babies MUST wear cloth diapers, tight fitting rubber pants, and snug fitting bathing suits or Little Swimmers in the pool area. PLEASE DO NOT USE DISPOSIBLE DIAPERS IN THE POOL.
25. Furniture and other pool accessories are for the benefit of all and are to be equitably shared. If the pool is busy and there are not enough loungers’ for the adult sunbathers, any child occupying a lounger chair may be asked to give it up by the discretion of the pool staff.
26. Headphones must be used with a radio, CD players and other sound equipment. Volume of all devices must be kept at a level that shall be heard only by the person using the device headphones.
27. No snorkels and/or dive sticks will be allowed.
28. The lap lane is for laps only.
29. No gum chewing in the pool at anytime.
30. NO TRESPASSING in the pool area before or after pool hours. Pool staff, Recreational Committee, Association Management, and the Board of Directors or their representative reserve the right to deny pool use to anyone violating this rule.
