IMPORTANT NOTICE – ASPHALT PAVING
TO: Residents and Homeowners of Cascades Park
SUBJECT: ASPHALT PAVING AND STRIPING
ORIGINAL NOTICE DATE: MARCH 10, 2020 (was originally an April 1 start date. Pushed back to August 2020 to aid residents so they would not be inconvenienced by not having parking during COVID19 Shutdown.)
Please be advised that BROTHERS PAVING AND CONCRETE CORPORATION has been contracted to provide the ASPHALT PARKING LOT AND ROAD PAVING for areas in the parking lots and roads listed below. Weather permitting; the current tentative schedule is as follows for specific street/parking lot closures: SEE MAPS
August 7, 2020 45665 to 45741 Paddington Station, Brondensbury Park, Wembley Central, Areas 2 and 3
August 10, 2020 Waterloo Station Square, Area 4
August 11, 2020 45808 to 45815 Mountain Pine, 45753 to 45799 Smoketree, Shortleaf and Cypress Valley, Area 5
August 12, 2020 45801 to 45758 Mountain Pine, 45667 to 45735 Smoketree, Redmon, Area 6
August 13, 2020 Shagbark Terrace, Area 7 and at trail (repairs marked with white paint – could extend into August 14)
PLEASE NOTE CHANGES OR ADJUSTMENTS TO THE ABOVE DATES MAY BE NEEDED DUE TO WEATHER OR OPERATIONAL ISSUES. PLEASE WATCH FOR SIGNS FOR INFORMATION.
PROJECT STARTS DAILY FROM 7AM – 5PM or later as needed to complete the work. VEHICLES NEED TO BE OUT OF PARKING LOT AND WORK AREAS BY 6:30 AM. We recommend moving cars earlier if possible or the night before.
Towed vehicles will be moved to the parking lot of Reston Bible Church located at 45650 Oakbrook Court.
IN ORDER TO ACCESS THE WORK AREAS AND PAVE THE ROADS FOR THE CASCADES PARK NEIGHBORHOOD, TOWING IS ENFORCED AT OWNERS RISK AND EXPENSE.
PLEASE NOTE IF WEATHER AND/OR OPERATIONAL ISSUES PREVENT THE ABOVE STATED SCHEDULE TO TAKE PLACE, RESCHEDULE WILL BE COMMUNICATED THROUGH NOTICE EITHER ON SIGNS ALONG ROAD OR ON CLUSTER MAILBOXES AND/OR BOTH.
As per the schedule noted above, all vehicles must be moved and relocated promptly from the parking lot while this work takes place until the lot is completed and ready to be reopened for traffic by contractor. Please do not enter the closed areas at any time. Certain parking bays may be blocked or coned off for upcoming speed humps installation or other work. Due to normal minor dust during construction you may not wish to leave you car parked in driveway – Cascades Park HOA/Brothers Paving are not responsible for any damages. Parked cars in driveways need to be a minimum of 8’ away from edge of road.
Again, please remove and move all vehicles no later than 6:30am — moving cars earlier is best. Every effort to minimize inconvenience to you will be made, however, during the time frame listed above, please follow the instructions as presented so that this project may be accomplished as smoothly, timely and efficiently as possible.
Adjustments to the schedule may be made as necessary. Any vehicle in the parking lot or blocking access to the work areas after 6:30 am will be towed at the vehicle owner’s sole risk and expense.
